SUMMARY:7 Hills Walk
DESCRIPTION:Legend has it that Kampala\, like Rome\, is a city that was built on seven hills. The city derives its name Kampala for the Luganda word “Kasozi ka Mpala” which means a Hill of many Impala. \nThe Kampala of today comprises of 21 hills\, but a walk through the 7 Hills will give you the opportunity to explore the genesis of the present day city. \n \nThe walk will start on the 8th of March at 8AM at Moonland Gardens on Nsambya-Gaba Road (lots of parking spots available for a small fee). Please arrive around 7.45AM\, as the party will depart at 8AM sharp. \nThis event is a big hit every year! The walk will be led by MCU Patron and Advisory Board Member\, Mr Deo Lubega.
