DESCRIPTION:Every week the Kampala Group of Bikers (KGB) will organize a fun ride on Sunday morning. The rides will be at an easy pace\, not too long (25-35km) and most important of all: great fun! The rides start from Kabira Country Club at 9am. You can park your car there for free. Our aim is to be back before noon for a good cup of coffee. Make sure to bring water\, food/snacks\, suncream\, a helmet and your bike and some money for coffee or drinks. If you don’t have a bike you can also hire one from Red Dirt Uganda (comes with a helmet) for 65k\, but let us know before the end of Friday. DESCRIPTION:Come check out the 4th Annual Mihingo Conservation Foundation – Mihingo Marathon scheduled for Saturday 4th June 2016\, near Lake Mburo National Park. \nThis spectacular event will have both running and mountain biking races for both individuals and teams. You cannot miss this opportunity to run along with the zebras! \nAll funds raised will be used by MCF to reduce the human-wildlife conflict around Lake Mburo and link communities to the benefits of living alongside wildlife. Last year MCF compensated 153 livestock (122 cows and 31 goats) killed or injured by leopard and hyena. \nSo come and run for conservation and see exactly what the MCF is working to protect during your race. \nCheck out Activate Uganda’s website for more details
