DESCRIPTION:We’re super stoked to announce MCU’s first Bouldering Competition! This will be a fun event for newbies and advanced boulderers. Join our Thursday Bouldering Sessions at the Roma Wall to train with us 🙂 \n🧗‍♂️ Participation is free to all MCU members and open to all skill levels.\n🥳 Spectators are welcome so come along with your friends & family to add to the cheer and climbing competition spirit. \nThe Boulder Competition will have 2 categories you can sign up for;\nCategory A – 3 fun & beginner-friendly problems. Worried about your route reading skills\, don’t worry\, you’ll get some hints & tips on how to approach each problem. \nCategory B – 4 competition-style problems which will be divided into Men’s & Women’s categories. A sign up sheet will be shared shortly in our Whatsapp Groups and Social Media channels. \nPlaces we will cover: \nThe Kabaka’s lake\nKabaka’s palace\nThe one mile road\nThe Buganda parliament\nNamirembe cathedral\nGadaffi mosque\nKololo airstrip\nNaguru hill(highest in Kampala)\nKisementi \nThings you should pack: \nHiking clothes( moisture wicking and quick drying)\nGood walking shoes(sneakers\, trail runners\, hiking boots)\nSunhat\nSunglasses\nSunscreen\nWater bladder or bottle(min 2 liters)\nLight rain jacket\nWater and snacks \nAfterwards\, we will gather for an MCU Social in Kisimenti – the details will be announced asap! \n  \n
