What about getting out of Kampala for the weekend. To switch things around, the MCU is organizing a trip to Insita/Luwazi on January 25-26 for a weekend filled with climbing, camping by a fire, a bar-b-que, a few beers, and more climbing!

The Insita / Luwazi crag is located about an hour east of Kampala and offers a good selection of top rope and lead climbing routes for climbers of different skills and experience levels.

Time: 7:00 am (sharp)
Location: In front of Que Pasa, Kisementi

Return
Depending on your driver. However, all rented climbing equipment must be returned to the Club by Sunday noon.

Food and drinks
Bring a lunch for Saturday, breakfast for Sunday, snacks, and at least 5 litres of water. For dinner on Saturday night you can enjoy the GOAT ROAST!!!! or bring your own food. The Goat Roast includes goat, roast, baked potatoes and kachumbari salad.

Costs & Rentals
Participation fee: 10,000 UGX
The cost of gear rental is UGX 5,000 per person.
